Improving user experiences with integrated provider pages

Certainly health enables consumers to compare and book medical and cosmetic care without worrying about surprise bills. As a contract Product Designer, I was tasked with redesigning the search results page and creating a new provider page for SEO and user experience.

Bringing price transparency to American healthcare

Overview

Users need a scalable solution to access more detailed provider information while improving SEO for the company.

The Problem

Initially, all information about a provider is on a small card on the /results page. However, space constraints on the results page mean we show very limited information about a provider. We have users who’ve wanted to click in to see more reviews for the provider.

In addition, SEO is important for an early-stage SaaS company like Certainly; a separate page for each provider, similar to websites like Zocdoc, Healthgrades, WebMD, and USnews is required.

Go from search results to provider page

I redesigned the search results page and created a new doctor’s profile page where users can find everything they need to book an appointment

For the first time ever, find guaranteed prices based on services offered

Whether it’s medical or cosmetic, users can now find exact cost breakdowns based on services the provider offers.

View available appointments based on location

Toggle between available locations and timeframes for the provider

Results and Conclusion

Certainly Health's new provider page is showing some exciting outcomes, with a 350% increase in impressions and better SEO rankings for our partner doctors in just the first month. These new pages and features highlight Certainly Health's commitment to shaking things up in healthcare with innovative design and a mission to make transparency a key part of how users engage with our platform.
